are you sure the G5 has replaceable led bulbs?
what most find is the best are adjustable bulbs
the bulbs need to be set so the leds shine horizial in the housing
two sided leds work more like the oem than any other multi sided bulb
how big of a fan is also a problem on some models
g4 sleds use H13 bulbs, 5000k bulbs are slightly blue

Did you take a look at Beamtechs they have always been well reviewed on Dootalk.
It is almost impossible to compare LED light bulbs output from different vendors, they tend to overly rate the wattage or output.

Yes @SKIDOOCHRIS the bulbs are replaceable, the EPC has a part number for them 415130081

 

just wanted to update this. The g5 bulbs are not replaceable. the part number 415130081 is for the g4 not the g5.

the headlight assembly for the g5 is 517308290 for the standard and 517308291 for the premium led.

here is a picture of what the standard plug looks like, it is molded into the housing.

 

SII is highly recommended. I have them on my G4, although haven't done much with lack of snow.

I got Beamtech H13's for my 23 900 and love them. Price was right, and much better than stock FWIW.

 

$500 is what I see from the dealer. I was expecting worse. However unless there is an issue with the design the LED bulds should last 30,000 to 50,000 hours or 1250 days of 24 hour run time +

I don't think we will need to replace them in the life of the sled, assuming they are not garbage quality.

 

Just ordered SII lights for my 900. Switching over from beamtechs which were a major upgrade from stock. So hoping the SII’s will be even better. With the upcoming 2 week forecast here in Michigan I’m not so sure I’ll even be able to report back lol. Why do we doo this sport🫠

 

Try to give us a side by side report of both LED setup's when you have a chance.

 

there are many differernt H11 beamtech and sll bulbs...you need to have the model number ,lm and wattage to get the same bulb. the beamtech F6 is their brightest bulb @ 22000lm/110w

 

220 watts vs 130 stock is really much for the charging system specially if you have any other lights and heated items.

110w is both bulbs and about the same as halogen bulbs

 

Don't forget that theses are Chinese watts, last time I tested LED lights the wattage was 4x lower that rated.
The same goes for lumens.
