I especially like what you have done. I really like the look and the polished tunnel. I bet you can boon-dock the crap out of that thing. Do you have a sense for the net weight loss? How well does it handle?
the tunnel polishing wasnt worth the time.. could only use aircraft grade paint stripper to remove the powdercoat, i think i almost died. Im still working out the handling, having a little trouble with ski pressure after dropping the rear skid bolt to compensate for taller track.. as for weight loss id compare it to the Renegade 600.. which i think is about 480 dry.. all in all its exactly what i wanted, a GREAT all around sled.. Goes anywhere, does anything, great on gas, no issues.
I picked it up 2 yrs ago with 1267km on it. It now has almost 5000km, all stock. BTW, at the end of last year, I got 102.4mph (on ice,scratchers down)on a garmin GPS. Probably could have got a little more if I had put new belt on. Not bad for a 600cc couch with air ride and all.
