Well I bit the bullet I spring checked a Gen 5 renegade 900 turbo-R with the 10.2 display. I told the dealer I wanted launch control he said when you order the 10.2 display launch control comes with it is this true? It says it is an option but it doesn't show it anywhere under options just wondering.

I thought it was only available as an option on the XRS but I could be wrong. My buddy has an X but the 7.2" gauge and it doesn't have it.

I mean if that were true then anything with the big gauge will have launch control in '24... all across the 2&4 stroke skidoo and lynx line up.

Yes it has it. The 2023 7.8 gauge had it also.

Your dealer is correct, its is the 10.2 display .

Aparently, the Buds system can turn on the launch control. It is only a software option that is already installed but not turned on. Maybe a BRP tech can confirm this.

Well I stopped in to the dealer and asked again I was told when you order a 10.25 gauge Launch Control comes with it. I asked does it have to be unlocked they said nope if you order the 10.25 gauge it come with it.

So the Ski Doo launch mentioned that Launch Control comes standard now with the 900r but doesn't really clarify if it comes included no matter what display you have.

Am I understanding your comments above to mean that a) yes everyone gets it b) the 10.25 sleds will already have it available when delivered to dealer c) the 7.2 doesn't have it available by default but the dealer would have to unlock the feature? Thanks

Launch control is active only on the 10.25" guages. You need your dealer to activate it on the other guage.

That's my thought as well. Doesn't make sense you have to have a dealer "unlock" the feature if they have announced it available to all 900r models.

7.2 would have to have LC capabilities built into the screen to allow it to be visibly displayed and selected.
