Klim Keweenaw Gear Question

I am looking to buy some new bibs and a parka and am considering going with Klim Keweenaw gear. They're not cheap and I want to make sure they are what I think they are. I am an active rider who rides in Minnesota and Wisconsin almost exclusively on trail. Anyone have any reviews on the Keweenaw gear? Likes? Dislikes? Worried about the gear being to warm for active riding.

Thanks!

Once you get past sticker shock they are awesom. I run bibs and jacket. Bullet proof and waterproof for many years now. Zero issues

Not too much more to add but I will give some positives/negatives that I have found. I have jacket and bibs.

Pros:
Fantastic build quaility.
Warm but has a removable vest for those warmer days. The vest can be worn on its own if you wanted.
Good venting. Two armpit and one across lower area of back (which you can also use as storage for say thin gloves or a hat).
Front zipper works top down but also bottom up so you can get some additional ventilation if you need.
Bibs can be worn as bibs or unzip top section and just wear as pants.
Excellent water proofing.

Cons:
Neck - compared to my last FXR stuff the neckline seems to be lower. I struggle with drafts around my neck at times which I easily solve with a neck gator but it does take some messing around before the start of a day.
The sleeves that extend and you put your thumb through them - these are super tight. I've never been able to use them. When I extend my arms the material painfully pulls on the spot between the thumb and index finger.

Overall very happy and I'm an active rider in all extremes of temps.

I have the keweenaw jacket and pants. Overall very nice gear. I do miss the versatility of my old FXR gear. I use to get the adrenaline jacket and that has a zip out liner for the warmer days but was also really warm on the below zero days. For what the Klim gear cost it's not very versatile. They want you to keep buying different layers of clothing and build your own versatility. My next jacket will be an FXR again just for the versatility.

I have the medium bibs. The medium ones fit me just right while standing. They ride up on my ankles somewhat when sitting. The large ones are just too big on me. So, I’ve got to make sure I don’t have a gap from my socks to my thermal polypropylene bottom under layer. At the time I bought them, they offered a large/tall size but not a tall option in medium. If you’re able to try them on before purchasing then take a seat like you’re riding your Doo. I’ve used them for three seasons now. My knees are a little abraded as I crowd the cowling as I ride. I’ve been pleased with the comfort down to minus 30F.
