Weird title I know. Just made my way over from Polaris. Ordered a XRS 900r Renegade.

Tomorrow in Toronto I'm going to the Ski Doo event where they have one on display.

I have a few questions like seat, launch control, lowered ride height. I plan to take some pics. Let me know if there are other questions you might have regarding the G5 Renegade.

No storage in the seat which was mentioned before. Was it firm, soft. I like that it's narrow.

No storage. I found the seat in between the G4 4 Stroke seat, and the G4 2 Stroke seat for firmness etc. I really really liked it alot better then my seat on the Mach Z. It's a nice compromise between the 2 imo.

It also looks like the 2 stroke seat bag will fit behind it, but there were none at the show to try a trial fitment. Doo rep, said most likely Doo will have a bag for that Gen 5 4 Stroke that sits and attaches to the battery cover next year most likely.

I have the 11L bag behind the seat on my 850 and asked my dealer the other day if it would fit the 900t I’m getting next season and was told it won’t. But I’m contemplating keeping it just in case it would.

I wish there was one at the show, or I would have tried it. I don't think it will fit nicely behind the seat, as it does on the 850/600 seats.

I never put anything in a doo seat trunk ever. With all the bag options, I’m surprised anyone else does.
Why not? It’s a handy bag. Tools, tow rope, oil qts for 2 strokes, jumper cables, hat, water or other beverages, snacks, etc. It’s a good all around bag that you don’t have to depend on other bags to hold stuff and it’s accessible. To me, a bag like this needs to be a factory addition along with the dash extension. Those 2 things alone hold a lot of stuff and to me, that’s important, maybe even a helmet plug in too, if that’s not asking for too much.

I don't have any experience with Ski Doo seats from any model but I like this one. Good size but not too bulky. Feels like it will be comfortable.

Tried to get an answer on lowered ride height. Rep didn't really know but I'm assuming they just reduced the spring height.

Also tried to confirm Launch Control on 7.2 screen. Rep indicated only comes with 10.25. Have to talk to dealer when it comes in to see if it is possible/they are willing to unlock on 7.2.
