Jetting a 800HO for sea level

OK, i have a few sleds this season to run on pump gas at or near sea level for use a trail sled.
1) 2003 Rev 800 with 04 800 HO cylinders, non HO head, v-force reeds and the stock 03 non HO MPEM. It has DPM set up as:

* Needle J89DGI-07-58
* 2.0 VALVE
* 17.5 PILOT
* 380 MAINS.

2) 03 SUMMIT 800HO w/rkt pistons, heads, bikeman pipe, ported, v-force reeds DPM and the stock 03 summit HO MPEM. Set-up as:

* Needle J8-9DHI 12-58
* 2.0 VALVE
* 17.5 PILOT
* 430 MAINS.

Thinking i could possibly run the 04 DPM carb set-up set-up. in the carbs from the 03 summit and the 03 800 non HO. These would be:

Needle J89DGI-07-58
* 2.0 VALVE
* 17.5 PILOT
* 400 MAINS

Anyone have any input here? My biggest concern was if there was a big differance in the timing from the 03 to the 04 set-up and should i switch the needles ect. How about the needle jet, can those be changed on the 03 carbs? Part numbers? Thanks....

REVBARON- Do you kow if the needle jets were the same from 03 to 04? I don't see any part numbers for them and i also don't know if they are removable or not. My plan was to set up the 03 carbs the same as the 04 specs. Any thoughts?

Set up for #1
#20 pilot jets
Shim needle .020
#400 main jet

Set up for #2
#20 pilot jets
Shim needle .020
#420 main jet

should be a good starting point for both.

Thanks- I'm gonna have to run the specs on the needles and see where the differance is in the needles. Last time i shimmed, fuel enonomy suffered and the top end was way too fat. I'll post the results.

The #2 set up is what I run on my 2002 HO converted 800 MXZX with a rack of 2003 800 carbs. no problems. My fuel mileage is way better than the stock set up ever was.
