Ski-Doo is going to pick up the bill for my parts on my 2003 800 sport but not the labor my dealer is chargeing me $800 to fix it. They are replacing the crank, crank bearings, piston and rings and gasket kits isn't this a little pricey? I think so.

Thanks Rev x

Part of that $800 is the fact that they were not happy that they don't get to mark up the free parts from Doo so they are giong to charge me $100 for getting those parts for me.

The parts alone would cost as much as a new motor. Doo rebuilt cranks are like $500, plus $70 bearings (3), jug $350 each, ect.....
obviously they get them for less, but that stuff ain't cheap.
Don't forget to get the seal kit from "airdoo800X" to keep that seal from popping out and causing another failure.
