lots of talk.. and it all makes sense...

doo has been in its own world for 4 seasons and now the others are getting closer with the upcoming season...

time for doo to JUMP forward anotehr 4 years...

I think you will see a new chassis in 08 I also think you will see it first at the snow-x track just like they did in 01-02!

going to be a fun season...

My only hope that they dont mess with the seating position. The Apex's which were praised for their less forward, less aggresive seating position really put a lot of pressure on my lower back and after an hour ride I had discomfort not experianced on my rev. Not a bash either as I really really enjoyed my time on the attack, absolutely LOVED the engine. If doo feels the need to respond to the less forward zealots then they should incorporate adjustable steering, the rev still has the most comfortable seating position for me.
They are definetly due for a new chassie, but we still have some time to wait especially when the 07 season hasn't started yet...

I will be buying in 08 if they doo,

From what i was told a new chassis will debut late in the Sno X season in the open class....and look for a front end more "open" like the Yamaha Phazer.
The guys at Supertraxx are thinking there maybe a mid season release in the new chassis with an 800R for flatlanders. Considering what the XR-S is going for it's just a dream sled for this pocket book.

RF chassis is what I am thinking. Why else would they make that chassis, that you can bolt in your 800, add a cooler and go, ok not that quick, but the mounts are there for a big block in the RF chassis.

Some of the AfterMarket Companies I have been dealing with since Im modding My Rev.

Well They Have all been hinting at the idea that Ski Doo wont do it this year because They have so many sleds still in stock and that the Rev Platform has done so Well that there lower then season Demand and the Flat out Performance and Next Gen Concept and mostly Success that a Rev 2 nicknamed Platform would be held off for another full year?

Fact I dont Know you tell me..
Im just pumped to See the outcome of my own project sled.

Cudney Billet Head
Vforce reeds and spacers
Dynoport pipe to stock silencer (Sleeper effect)
Dynoport Clutch kit

On a 2003 Rev 800

New model may be out this year as quoted by many magazines. There is definitely a new chassis for next year.

The current is getting old and the other manufactures, esp Arctic Cat is making some big news this year with their new sleds.
Debut at one of the earlier major Sno-X events on the WSA circuit by Morgan and a few select others.
was supposed to be at Duluth but now I hear it may not appear till X games. That would suck. It also has a very similar look to the Freestlye and while the look may not be to my liking, the sled will reign king!

i heard debut at x-games as well.
Doo's R&D dollars would be better spent on their engines. I think the Doo faithfull would be happy to sit on the current chassie for a couple more years if their engines were not so high maintenance. If they can't get the SDI or the EchoTech reliable, maybe it's time to slip a high performance 4-stroke under the hood. THEY WOULD SELL!!
I talked with a guy here who have been over to X-games and he said that ski-doo gonna test a new chassie in the Racer class!

There was an RF chassis at the Frankenmuth grass drags with a huge engine in it. I'm not sure what class it ran in either.
Freestyle with a 1000cc liquid and a 136. You could almost do tail whips with it!!!

They have a new engine, 800R (I'm sure a 600 will follow).
5 years of the same chassis is enough already....it's time to move forward.
