Just wondering if anyone has installed an R motion Skid in a 2013 Grand Touring LE. I'm wondering if anyone Knows whether the rear mounts need to be moved?

Thanks

yes, they are different

and the rear is a big problem because the tunnel is different (rear bracket and the running board is different )

now the rmotion will bolt into the sc5 tunnel but will set about 1 inch lower than in the other chassis

so the track attack angel will be steeper and the sled will set about a inch higher

and the track will be tighter

I see where it will sit further back than where the sc5 sat. And yes, I see that the sc5 upper idler wheels bolt straight to the mounts on the tunnel and the r motion will sit lower because it has that splined shaft. I'm wondering if this will affect the ride that much.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

actually the r motion sits closer to the drive sprockets by about 1 inch

but the longer front arm puts the skid back more

the mounting holes are close to the same distance apart

the r motion is about a half inch wider than sc5

if you only change the front hole the distance will be about a half inch wider than in a xs chassis

but the front will be in the correct location for the r motion

you can buy the xs front steel spacer that you rivet to the tunnel and it will have both sc5 and r motion mounting holes
