I know that ice scratchers are important and I personally like duraflex. Had then previously on an arctic cat and they fit right on the skid no probelm.

Now I have a 900 Ace Renegade and the holes in the skid are too small. I dont want to ski mount them so thats not an option...which leads me to drilling.

Which hole did anyone else decide to drill out? I'm worried about weakening the skid frame. Secondly what tips and tricks does anyone have to prevent rubbing between the rail and carbide claw of the scratcher.

Thanks!

I installed the BRP Ice Scratchers on my Enduro 900 and they work great so far. I was out on hard packed groomed trails early in the morning and I started running a little warmer than usual and I could smell the sliders starting to heat up. Dropped the tunnel mounted Ice Scratchers and the temp cooled off and I couldn't smell the sliders any more.
