I rode to Watersmeet and on my way back towards Iron River I passed the groomer. Trails in Iron County were great!

Nice,

A even consistency means they dug deep enough to get the bumps out, and laid a decent ribbon. A few voids in the surface means they could have cut and carried just a bit more snow and packed it just a little harder, but sometimes you don't want to cut any deeper then you have to. The snow consistency actually looks like it was pretty cold, and multi-processed snow which will sometimes leave small voids. Appears to be a nice one pass, maybe 12' wide trail, and I like the nice big bank on the side, as they will be able to go over there and grab that snow later in the season and freshen up the trail as a period of low snow. 9.5/10!
