I found a way to lock my Linq bag onto my sled this past weekend. I used Master Lock 9120T (it came in a two pack so I you can use one key for both locks). Here is the link for the lock:

I drilled a 5/32 hole through the lever that you use to secure the bag onto the sled and the plastic behind the lever. You need to make sure that you don't drill to low on the plastic piece in the back because it is solid the back, you know I mean when you look at it.

Then just put the other lock through both zippers.

That is a pretty good idea. I've seen other examples around here that were similar to yours.

My only concern with those particular locks would be freezing them shut on the trail. Perhaps finding a version that has covers over the lock cylinders would be fruitful.
