How and what do you use to polish a helix in the secondary clutch? I have read that people do this and it helps a lot with back shifting. Thanks for any help.

Big windy mxz, I also asked this question on snowest.com in the performance/modified forum. One guy replyed that he starts out with steel wool, goes to scotch bright pad and then a buffing pad on his dremel. May try it this weekend if I have time.

They do polish themselves to an extent by just normal wear in the clutch. But sometimes they get buildup on them from the slider shoes. I just used some Mothers polish. That worked OK.
