I think my sled burns way too much oil, 1 litre to about 25litres gas.

Do you adjust it down by the oil pump or up on the cable?
What is the measurement? Where do you take the measurements?

Any help would be great.

Does anybody else have an SS that burns alot of oil, my sled is good on gas so my miles per litre are 100 - 120 per litre.

My 500ss burns a lot of oil also, but my plugs look great, so if I'm not fouling plugs, I don't care. (A little too much oil, is better than not enough). As long as the combustion looks proper.

I checked it from cover to cover last night, no mention of oil pump adjustment

I would be very careful, running rich is not a problem if the plugs look a nice brown color ( not black & gooey) you could ask the dealer I know polaris sets the oil heavy for break in then at the first service sets it a normal setting.

Brought mine in for first service last week they adjusted oil injection down to 16.5mm.The tech told me that the factory sets it high for the break in period

I always have a nice little oil ring at the base of my plugs.
Better to be safe than sorry, if it aint broke dont fix it.
