High Rise Seat

I have an 06 MXZ 500ss with a 1+1 seat. I am also 6'6" tall and would love to have a boss highrise seat to provide some relief for my knees on long trips.

I have contacted Boss and they do not have an option. I was thinking I could construct a pad of sorts that would overlay the existing seat and provide another 3+ inches of height on the seat. Has anyone done this, or have any ideas.
