While out hiking in northern CO right at the border of WY last weekend I came across these tracks left long ago and set in sandstone.
Yeah these look fake....but they are the real mccoy! One giant Sabertooth Tiger cat track following its prey from the looks of it.
Wouldn't want to meet this fella on the trail! That pic is my size 12 boot. Yeah it's that big.

cool find! and yeah, i wouldnt want to see one of those things, or should i say, i wouldnt want him to see me! lol!

Here's all the tracks in the rock.
The gray areas are just created by the water washing away the sandstone over time.
It's small depressions where the water lays when it rains. There were many other gray
depressions on these rock formations but I couldn't find anymore tracks.

Holy cat toe's Batman. I would have jumped off of the cliff in front of you. Rather die quick than so because you know cats want to play with their food before they eat it.

Very cool! I would not want to come across one of those baddies...unless I was with someone I knew I could out-run!
