Just thought I would share how I install my secondary without issue. Clean the outer race of the bearing and the bore which it sits in. Use a little grease or anti-seize in the bore. Insert the jack shaft. Pinch the bearing and housing with your thumb and fingers. Squeeze and at the same time pull the upright frame towards you. With your other hand push and wiggle the end of the jack shaft. You can also tap with a rubber mallet. That's it, goes right in. Just thought I would share since I see this come up a lot.

Yup i saw all the horror stories about reinstalling. And followed the advice on here and went right in

Key is to flex tower towards clutch as staed and smooth sailing

Just put a pry bar behind the bearing tower while you are pushing the secondary in. Put a little pressure on the pry bar to keep the tower from flexing. Then reach across and pull the gear retainer tool to help seat the bearing in the tower bore. Works like a charm.
