pull windshield, pull guage cluster , the whole flat black part. it will lift up. then swear, cuss and have bandages waiting. or at least that is how I did it. I put in blue bulbs the same wattage. in the past the higher watt bulbs have caused my grips and stuff to not work as well.

I have been running 100 watt lamps since new with zero problems. The Mach has a big alternator and has handled the extra draw just fine.

It is not too hard to replace the bulbs. You can start by doing what freakshow did and remove the windshield. Next you have to remove the plastic bezel or piece that the window attaches to. This will expose you to the boots and wiring that plug into the bulbs. What I did was to turn the headlight adjuster knob to tilt the headlight assembly down almost to the end of adjustment. This will open the access to the bulbs so you can work on replacing them easier. Just make sure you readjust your lights when finished. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes to do. Not too bad. Good luck!
