Snowcheck: 2014 Summit X 154" Black & Red

 I will be putting a AeroCharger w/cooler on her:

http://aerocharger.com/kits_skidoo_revxp.php

I also plan on putting a Blow Hole on!

http://www.mtntkperformance.com/ Saw them at Jackson Hole.

I also might do a C3 Belt drive.

C3 Syncro Drive https://www.c3powersports.com/content/c3-syncrodrive-ski-doo-xm-xs-xp-xr Looks Awesome! Talked to Kevin & he said his belt drive will work with the Aero Charger. Cant wait to slap this baby on. 5 pounds of weight savings with 3 pounds of rotating weight saved!

Belt Drive XP

May do a SCS Wrap or similar:

Did anyone have a vent kit that worked and looked great on there 2013???

Are 2011 Summit X Shocks the same eye to eye as the 2013/2014 XM? 16 1/2

Any suggestion on any other parts or Mods Ill need to do?????

If I do anything else Id be looking to cut some weight off the sled.

11 shocks should work fine. i know mark fairly well actually. he builds an amazing product and cuts no corners. ask him about the difference between his and the C3. there is a difference.

I would suggest a Turbo Performance turbo kit by hey what do I know?? :biggrin_old:

Seriously I would add Skinz airframe running boards, Dynomoejoe for a clutch kit, and save a couple thousand dollars for a aftermarket suspension because if you plan on running 8 psi or greater you are going to need something to keep the skis on the snow.

Thanks for the Shock info***

I do like the Airframes but do you think there still needed on the XM's?

I know there better then the 2011. Do you have problems with your XM? Anybody??

I'm not sure what to do with the xtra soft rear end. Any suggestions for just replacing the rear shocks and a H arm or something instead of a whole skid?

I know of EZRide, and Timbersled.

i would go with roosterbuilt for the clutch kit they specialize in moutain clutching not that dynamo wouldn't do great. ask bandit if his relocates will work with t motion it will keep the skis down. If not and you do get rid of the t motion holz has a good off season deal on a set of floats and do the relocates with drops combo. I would do the c3 xm post kit, airframes and a weight set cuz you need to be able to hold on for a whole day

Cool, I'm not to familer with Rooster built or C3's post kit. I'll be looking into it.

Exactly the information I was looking for. It's hard to stay on top of all of the cool vender products out there when you have to work to pay for them or your riding when not working.

I have some clutch parts that would help convert the power to the ground with basic tuning and you can count on me for support for clutch coaching to a quick tune.

:ride:

we need a turbo emoticon...haha
I've got your clutch kit on my 2011. Thanks Joe

There's a new company called Psychosleds building a belt drive system for the XM. My 14 will probably be receiving one. I think C3 is coming out with a light weight hood soon for the XM as well.

I'm going with AeroCharger mostly because there always in Colorado and proven reliable.

Ill have to check into Tom's E-Motion. Interesting: http://www.dootalk.com/forums/topic/544175-the-next-evolution-toms-emotion-air-suspension-for-the-xm/

or here:

Tom's E-Motion: http://www.shoptomssnowmobile.com/E-Motion-Rear-Suspension-Kit-detail.htm?productId=-423273&shopBy=-1636&catalogId=-403

Aero charger stands out, snow/air much lighter and works just as good as a/w

C3 belt drive is not working out the best on a 174 track, to much load, need wider belt

Turbos are starting to take over on the etec, but you need to mechanical inclined when things go south, with trouble shooting ability

Primary tunning is very easy, throw in 415 ramps, 23 grams of pin weight , 160/320 spring, use a schockwave helix for the secondary and ride

Forgot to mention skid, stock skid sucks but can work with some changes, but still not the best
, much better idea is getting a baker skid if weight is not the most important, if it is then titanium skid from tom
