help 2005 600 renegade x rear suspension

The last ride in march o6 i noticed the rear suspension was very soft, thought maybe snow built up of something. But I pulled mine out of storage today and just by sitting on it, 210lbs and the springs set at the stiffest position, i squish it enough so the coupler block is hitting. I remember it being a little stiffer. Would a bad shock cause this? Or is that just to dampen the rebounding. Maybe soft springs. I had alway had the springs in the middle stiffness, but today a put them to the stiffest and it still sagged that much. It only has 1600 miles on it. Any body got any suggestions. Thanks

Pull the shocks out of the rear suspension, and then get them rebuilt.

You will wonder why you waited so long.

If yor ride hard, rebuild every year. I doo and never had any problems. I also changed my torsion springs to stiffer.

the other replies may be right, but if the skis are on dollies and the end of the track is on the floor the rear suspension will hardly hold itself up. it seams strange but I guess it shows how much the center shock is really taking the load when the sled is sitting flat
