HJC makes very good and nice ISR race helmets.

Mike
you know........I have actually been looking into this as well........

Problem is, most helmets don't have enough ORANGE.....

The new rules are much more strict about the orange, and I am having a hard time finding the correct helmet.......

Also, I have an HJC currently and it's problem, along with most other helmets I've tried, is this........When you put your goggles on, they ride UP to far............so I am in search of a helmet that has the goggle opening LOWER than the HJC...........It is hard to find a helmet, cause nobody stocks many helmets to try, you have to order and HOPE!

Anyne own FLY helmets? how are those? I think I tried on a KBC once, and the goggles fit more correctly on it.........but i am not sure.........

Helmets are a big pet peeve of mine, none of them seem to function correctly along with goggles........I am not sure why goggle manufacturers put VENTS in the outer lens either, all it does is let snow dust and moisture inbetween the lenses. and why not have a surround on the goggle frames, to block the wind from entering the helmet.

I learned from Dynamo-Joe and Rockin' Roddy how to "tape up" a pair of googles to have a "tape" surround, and it works awesome, but the tape gets cold and stiff, and it only lasts for a couple rides before you have to do another tpe job.

I think someone should make a fabric thing that is like an inch wide all the way around the goggles so it blocks the wind from entering the gaps......

enough complaining.........i'm all ears......

Z1R Rail Flo is made for sno-x, blaze orange and comes with the cold air kit installed - manufactured by HJC costs $100 plus shipping from me.

thats what i did this past winter was a tape surround... used duck tape on the outter parts to fill the voids and break the wind and then lined with winter door seal (sticky back foam) on the inside... worked awesome and warm too! Lasted all year.. i will likely be re-doing it this year again..

just my $0.02
