If you are installing the USB port in your glovebox, there is a + and - on the back of the plug. I didn't notice and had my wires backwards, wouldn't work. Double checked and that was the problem.

Cool part is the plug has a blue led glow light. Makes it nice to see things in the glove box at night.

Where is the connection plug located? Once you remove glovebox lid and top shroud is it right there?
You need to add the harness that comes with the kit .It plugs/splits where the visor power comes from .
Accessory plug location on mine was to the left of the gas filler neck, on the frame. Had to remove side panel and plastic above the side panel to access. Others have said you remove more pieces such as hood and top plastics.
