Have skidoo muffs on my 22 renegade. The right side muffin keeps falling out if the grip. Either th hole in the grip is enlarged or the plastic push screw used to secure it into the bar is worn. Anyone have this happen and if so what did you do to fix it?
Thanks

Do you have a picture of how you have your muffs setup? I can't get my ski-doo muffs to work with the handguards on my '22 renegade.

I had this same issue, went with a larger pin and that worked for a few weeks. I ended up buying motorcycle handlebar end clamps. These insert into the bar and when you tighten the screw the internals expand to lock onto the ID of the bar. When you want to remove them you just loosen the screw

Here is a link from F9, but I'm sure you can buy them in anywhere in the US

I have also purchased nylon screws at hardware store that screw in that way the hole isn’t constantly widening with every installation and removal a window shield dart used on older Polaris sleds may be another option these are so available at hardware stores we used to they expand when you push the center pin in (removable

The new muffs are much nicer than the old ones. The front side uses a foam similar to the trail seat bags. It’s stiff and holds the shape well. The closures are now magnet vs the old style Velcro. It makes it much easier to install. The section that wraps around the bar is still Velcro similar to the old ones. Also, it looks like the pin that slides into the bar is a bit larger and seems to hold better so far. The window on top is larger as well, not that it mattered much to me. Overall, I like the new ones better than the old style, they seem to have more open space inside, but it may be due to the front foam section.

You can run the XRS handguards on the outside of the muffs if you wanted to, I tried it and they fit. They will not work on the inside of the muff without some sort of modification to the muff mounting system.

As for being out of stock, I ordered a set at the dealer last Monday and they were there on Thursday.
