handle bar post position

I am contemplating mounting a fixed windshield on my 05 rev with a 2" rox pivot riser. I realize that you have to change the post ot the rear position I changed the adjustment anf adjusted the riser and it feels pretty good just standing on it in the garage , how does this change effect the handleing?

I moved my '05 X from the back position to the front. Didn't notice any handling change at all, just rider seating position.
