What modifications have you done to install hand guards without changing the stock windshield.

Sled is a 2014 Tnt and the windshield is 13.5" (medium)

I'm thinking of angling them up slightly and also tipping the bars back some......Am I on the right track?

Thx.

If windshield has the little turn up at the top. Then handguards will clear it.
Just put them on mine. Have about 1/2" of clearance at full turn. But I also have x-package riser which is about an inch or so taller than stock.

Ok. I was wondering about installing a taller riser. When I first bought the sled and tried a pair it seemed that they would never clear so I took them back. Wife is complaining about cold hands so I'm going to give it another try.

Yes, The windshield has the last inch curled up.

Has anyone made this work with stock riser?

I also have on the new clear doo hand guards. Never had any other type so I don't know if clearances are any different than other designs.

I have them on a 13 tnt, Ned windshield with a 6 inch riser works fine. I saw them on a 13 txt with the stock riser and they clear, just touch at full lock when turned. Both those where the XP chassis.
