Handguard Mounting brackets on 03/04 REV

Anybody out there run into this issue. I've got an 04 Gade (Not X package) that I removed the pivot windshield on to replace with fixed windshield and Powermadd hand guards. The mounting kit was suppose to be universal in that a "U" clamp was to attach directly to the handlebars behind the grips. Problem is that on the brake side, the brake line and reservoir are in the way. There's no room to mount the bracket. Worked fine on the throttle side though. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am going to run into the same problem.
I am going to use the Rox Mounts with Powermadd handguards.

you have got two options. go with the rev mounts from rox's or buy sporttech guards for it. they work on the inside of the controls.

Go with the Rox mounts and handguards, they look awesome. I ran into that same problem with the universals. I was not disappointed when I then ran into the Rox setup.

Just placed my order for the ROX mounts. The set up looks alot cleaner. Thanks for the advice guys!!
