Hey all,
I have a 2009 Summit that I'm planning on greasing up from top to bottom, wondering what everyone uses on their sled? Type, brand, etc, etc...thanks for your input. Happy New Year everyone!!

If your talking about greasing the zerk fittings, than most any quality grease will work. No need to over analyze it. More important is to grease them regularly to flush out the old contaminated grease with fresh grease

"why pay more?" grease works good. I think the frequency of greasing is more important than the brand.

I'm big on greasing after every ride with the wheeler or the sled, it gives me a chance to look around and check for any wear or loose bolts ect. I found this Green Grease a few years back and it works great in all applications.

"We're in a tight spot!!"

Funny that this thread came up. I was researching this very topic to restock our garage. We've always used lithium grease due to its resistance to water. I looked for a grease that was good for low temps AND waterproof, and I couldn't find it. It seems that you can only get one or the other...

Was useing FS multi purpose red now useing Farm and Fleet synthetic. Any will be better than none just remember some greases are not so good at low temps ends up being more like glue than grease. Moisture displacement and lubrication is the key to happy componets in this case.
