Are the track lugs not pre drilled for studs? If so buy some igrip studs and tunnel protectors

Traditional studs cant be used. The track is pre "holed" for tire studs. Any reputable tire store has a tool to install them. Had it done on a 2019 Grand Touring and plan on having this years 2020 done this month.

 

Why can't it be studded? What is different? Anyone studded one without problems?? Need some more info please.

Does it come prestudded? If it does, those little studs work pretty good.

 

If you install studs of any kind to that track it will void warranty to the track and any damage from the studs. The only way around this would to have the dealer install an ice ripper track before you take delivery of the sled. then it could be processed as a factory installed accessory.

The silent drive track has a thick band that runs down the center of the track along with extra driving lugs all over the inside of the track that leave essentially zero places to put traditional studs. Your best best is to install tire studs in the holes in the profiles as other have mentioned.

I went thru this last year on are 2019 Grand Touring limited 900 t .you cannot stud that track we did a track swap to a prestudded track and it was actually less then studding .
