The gauge and controller are standard equipment from a gauge manufacturer. Only the software gets customized. Can’t recall the companies name but they supply gauges for everything from boats to cranes.
I've seen the control knob and switch in a product release from the mfg. The gauge manufacturer has just integrated this switch into their gauge to control menu and selection. I have a datasheet for that switch at my work somewhere for possible future use. I'm pretty sure it's available in different button and without button configurations.
This is news to me and I actually think it’s great that’s it’s used in many applications. Should mean it’s tested and hopefully reliable and long lasting
South Bay Pontoon boats use the same gauges and knob on the premium editions. the new ones even have the 10.5" display. they use the same manufacture.
