getting my 98 mxz 583 to wheelie

ive been making runs on the grass and the skis dont lift very high about 3-5inchs and does not hold it. i got my limiter straps loose. what else can i do?

Make your suspension as soft as possible. Lossen the shock as much as you can. Put your feet right at the end of the running board and put your weight back there and see if you can wheelie it then

Are you studded? If not, you're wasting your time on the grass trying to "wheelie."
Why do you want it to? It sounds to me like you got the sled hooking hard now. Why do you want to waste that by putting the front end in the air.

The sleds you see in the DVD's doing it are doing it on shear power, not by making your suspension unridable.

Just my $0.02 worth, take it for what it means to you.
If the 98's still have the ACM (my 97 did), take that nut off (save it!) and you won't be able to keep the ski's down. I pulled mine off a couple of times to race and it was crazy how much it pulled the front end. Useless except for entertainment, you could not steer it.
