For those of you who've been following, I'm trying to get the sled rebuild on a pretty tight budget, and I've noticed there is a big difference in price for an OEM full gasket set to Royal Distributing. Does anyone know about their kits? Are they any good, or am I risking more headaches putting it in? The difference is 89.00 for the Royal kit and 265.00 for the Ski-doo.

don't over pay for the skidoo parts we all know they are ridiculously priced. get the royal set they are of the same quality.

not been following, but do you need all the gaskets/o-rings??... i did a top end rebuild and only had to get a base gasket.... not a problem since...

you probably dont need the set. just get the 2 crank seals and base gasket. should be able to re-use head o-rings.

yeah, but is the cost difference going to be much worth it? Cudney has full set for 100 bucks..... two seals and a base from doo probably costs that....lol

the 2 seals and a base gasket are $86 cdn. $100 from Bill is good.

i put a new seal in the clutch side of my 03 800 rev last year , it cost me $56.00 from ski-doo .so this year i though i would redo the whole motor so i bought the royal complete gasket set, came with all seals and gaskets $89.00 , on the package it says mxz 2000/2001 but its the same as mine. hope this helps some.
