Use a real good syn. oil at 50 to 1 mixture.

On my 72 olympic 300 I do not find it fowls them that much, only if I do a lot putting around. As soon as I open it up it cleans it out and we are all good. So it will depend on what type of driving you will be doing. For me I like it a little rich in oil as it is safer then too lean, and with a 300 i need to open it up when I am with my friends and there new models.

I would suggest 30:1 and see how it goes.
