Has anyone tried Garmin Recreational Lakes with Fishing Hot Spots to use while snowmobiling? I sled in the UP mostly and I think it would be nice because it shows all the county roads plus all of the small rivers, streams, lakes etc... Which this would be nice to know where water is when you go off trailing.

i have gps topo has the country roads too and shows you land grade

yup topo is the software to get if you want to upload maps... very accurate... not as nice as Delorme Topo but they are uploadable and delorme are not-

I ride in the UP. Igot a garmin legend gps mounted with a ram mount. It came with the topo cd to download info. Its very useful and accurate when in the sticks.It shows many back roads and lakes.

we use the roads and recreation maps in ontario. works awesome, every little pond and creek has a name. lots of logging roads shown as well. ski
