Does anybody know the size of the gas line that is in the tank connected to the filter? Thanks

When I replaced mine, if memory serves me well, it is a oddball size and a different composite, that was available from bpr for $15 for 14 inch hose. Keep in mind that using most fuel lines will either go stiff or deteriorate sitting in fuel all the time.

Skidoo Parts House describes as this...
POLYURETHANE HOSE 7.6MM
415097800
I tried ordering this part # earlier in the year for my 98 formula, dealer said its discontinued. I believe the substitute is now 513033332, which from I can tell is used from 2008-2020.

I agree with @LETMGROW , I think the bombardier sourced line is far supreme to the cheap stuff.

Definitely replace the grommets too. You might even be able to get the OEM ones from skidoo still

I would recommend the use of the Bombardier line. I have seen cheaper line get hard and crack after only a couple season's use. Be sure to replace the tank grommet when you replace the tank line. These are available aftermarket and work just fine. SP1 is one supplier.

The closest size fuel line I've found is 3/8" and have used 3/8" Tygon as a replacement when I had no choice. No failures yet that I am aware of. You can also use Dorman 42058 as a replacement bushing/grommet. It looks a little different but I've never had a failure with one.

The original fuel line in the tank was a flexible black thin walled line. I have seen a couple of these lines which have cracked and opened up a gap in the line. The engine will get fuel unless the fuel level gets very low then air can get into the pickup line and starve the fuel pump and carbs for fuel. We all know what that leads to. $$$$$
If you run the tank down to near empty and look into the tank with a flashlight and see a black pickup line it is an original line. Get rid of it pronto.
The new OEM line is much sturdier but still flexible.
