I have a 2009 500ss GTS. My tank can be full and gauge will read half full, the next time I start it up it will read one bar or it will read no bars and the and the fuel light will come on. I fill the tank full before each start, so i know the gauge is not working the way it should. Any help would be great.

Yes, the skidoo gas gauges suck. They don't work at all for accuracy. Personally I would say set your trip at 0 tank full and ride it for a while to see what you put back in after say 50 miles? Know what you can roughly get on a tank and just un plug that gauge. They're useless and annoying when they beep low fuel 3/4 full.

Just sayin.....thought we all accepted that Ski Doo can't make an accurate fuel gauge more than a decade ago.lol
I just got this sled, i did not know they had trouble with gauges. On my 1200 never had any problem with it.

Didn't know doo had a problem with fuel gauges being accurate. They seemed to work just fine in every doo that I've had. (8 of them)
