I have them on my 05 rev 800 and they been on for over 3 seasons with no issues.

 

I have used them on my last few sleds, never had any trouble.

 

Very durable and do not even come close to coming off. Not the best if you are trying to force air in due to their tight weave. Better for letting heat out.

 

No need to spend the $$$

You can buy that same material from a fabric store or on the inter web and make your own for 1/4 the price

 

All 3 of our sleds have frog skins , We used the 2 inch ones . 3 on clutch side and 2 on exhaust side , work great

keep in mind when deciding on placement, the frog skins do not repel water.

Hot glue or silicone works well.

 

3m adhesive spray.......scuff the inside of the panel , and make sure you cut enough extra to get about 1" of material beyond the hole you are covering ( yes the vent goes inside the plastic). Spray adhesive and set mesh, use a plastic, dull paddy knife or wallpaper blade

Hot glue also works well
Squeeze glue onto plastic, then lay material. Use something flat , we use cardboard pieces, to press the material into the glue, bonding the two together
