I'm looking for a source as well for just the material, I put the Frogskinz vent covers on my hood and nose cone and they worked great but want to make my own side panel vents.
I did find a place on eBay for just the material from Moflow vents and tried contacting them 3 times with no response from them??
If you find a place please post where you got it.

Frogskinz come in multi use sizes too. I have a couple of oval shaped vents that are about 2"x6" on the front edge of my left side panel. They're right in front of the primary and help keep clutch temps down. Think a 2 pack was 19.99 at Ingles. I searched for similar cloth,but it's pricey. I was gonna pick up a set for some bigger vents in the left side panel. Ingles has a bunch of different sets in stock. I'll grab some random set that has shapes I think will work best.

I bought a nylon/spandex mix at my local fabric store. Was 7.99 a yard. Then I used a whole can of scotch guard on it, spraying from both sides. I used this, backed with pet screen for strength to make my own vents. Water beads up pretty well on it but you can still easily blow through it with minimal force.

Ill be trying to do the same and making my own. What did you use as the frame on yours Bskredsvig?

 

I used .060" kydex. It's a plastic you can form with heat like they make holsters out of. I did both side panel vents and the shock tower vents on 2 sleds for about $50. It is labor intensive but if you have the time and tools it's enjoyable. At least to me....

 

Thanks for the reply, looks like good stuff. I was thinking of using polywal material from Home Depot, pretty much like the stuff you see on car wash walls or similiar applications......another member had used it with good luck. Might look into the kydex as well.

i bought these for my rt chassis not a fan of there rev chassis look as far as the colored ones go.
