good info to know when you decide to grass race


rev600 7600/7700 rpm
recommended fuel 100 octane
jets 400 with foam or paper elements
pilots 25=screw adjustment2.0 +-1/8turn use plastic wahser to raise the needle
gears 21-43 chain 70 link
clutch ramp 419 p/n 417 222 557 clicker postion #3/
spring 260/420 p/n 417 222 164= clutch engagement
pin weight 18.8 grams
driven clutch spring White p/n 486 130 046 with preload at B3 postion
helix angle 48/44
all calibrations done at 20 degrees c

I dont think all the info is accurate.

A Rev 800 does not have clip positions for the needle's. This has to be adjusted by shims. The stock jetting is 380. I could see going down to 320 or lower. Maybe due to paper filters you need to be higher, but I dont think so. The secondary you cant set the twist of the spring like you can in the 2002 and older sleds.

It sounds like this set up is for 2002 and older. Not for the REV'S. I'm sure someone else can chime in on these findings.

i found this info from a post by moparwhilly back in dec '02
Race Manuel Info/Drag Racing it was called. thought maybe helpful.
