Market is weird for sure. The difference in the dollar does make a significant difference in prices. I always hear that for our swaps here, like Expo Sno that the Americans are always looking for and buying Elans lol.

I see guys talking on the RV FB site, they are talking about values that we were paying 15 or 20 years ago for RVs. Restored ones (various levels) 6-7 + thousand yet a clean rolling chassis only worth what it was 20 years ago? I don't think so. Any POS anything is $500 plus here.

At any rate, that Olympique has to be worth a few thousand up here, and personally I would leave it as is. It would be a crime to strip that down and restore it - everybody's over restoring now anyway, nice to see something as it should be.

Ya, thats not far and why I mentioned it. Not picking on anybody on here, but I see it all the time on FB, the "wish you were closer, I'd buy it" comments are a dime a dozen. If you are serious, there is always a way to make it happen, and sometimes its not that hard or expensive. Gotta remember, there are some really good people in this hobby, surprising sometimes the ones willing to help a guy out very reasonably.

Original, unmolested sled like this are not common, price is fair.

Maybe I should put my two 1970 Olympic 399's on here. One I bought new in the fall of 1969. The other about 20 years or so ago.
