Cause we had to have the editing software delivered via dog sled it only took 10 month to post this video.

As you may remember I surprised papasled with a new skidoo on Christmas morning, well here is the video of that surprise.

Great to watch!!

Sorry there is one little swear from YK........Yellowknife is the person delivering the sled in case you didn't know.

Thanks Yellowknife (Allan) for putting this clip together for us!!

Awesome Video!!! I have to say I almst shed a tear!!! LOL Looks like it was well appreciated and I am sure it has been used a lot!!!!

I remember when my parents pulled into our driveway with a new to me sled!!!
My first sled ever and it was an 88 Phazer!! I was soo darn happy that day!!!!

You're a lucky man Randy and it seems like you all have a very close community where you live!!!!

Can't seem to view it right now, but FYI...Windows XP has free movie editing software built into it. It's very good...it's called MovieMaker

hey ziff, what are u running over there, a Mac ?? Just click the link and it should take you to Photobucket and start playing automatically...reset your WMedia Player to play all formats (if that's what ya use) maybe ?
WMM didn't have the tools needed to get the job done, we needed something with a broad file conversion/ripping/cutting range. I used AoA DVD Cutter SE & DVD Cutter Pro to get the video into postable format and size, the original is much better quality and size.
Thanks to everyone who knew about and kept the surprise, which was apparently everyone on Dootalk and all my frends and family here in YK...today I move my sled out to the front yard and then start doing the snow dance...can't wait for another season on my Summit !!!!

No macs for me, thanks! It looks like the host is just very slow right now...it's starting to DL but taking forever...I'm going for a 30 mile bicycle ride and I expect it'll be all set when I return.

If you're going to do this stuff on a regular basis, take a look at the Pinnacle Studio stuff. Very slick and easy to use.

Nice surprise for sure! Mama is a keeper!! (LOL)

Yes she is ! If I was to get into video a lot more (helmet cam, etc.) I would get some good software, right now I have a 5 yr. old Super 8 camcorder that doesn't get used much as I find the digital still cam my favorite right now.
Although after seeing lloydsaw's equipment I would like to get into videos more ...
