I have been trying to get my 98 Formula 500 Z back on the trail for several years now. Finally found a competent mechanic. He found quite a few things the other “mechanics” missed and a few things I goofed on as well.
put about 120 miles on it this weekend and forgot how much power this thing has even for a little 500.
Definitely the smallest sled out on the trails in terms of engine size and physical size but it didn’t skip a beat. Ran it hard between Camp Hale, and Vail Pass. Not sure of the altitude where it topped out but it was between 12 and 13,000 feet.
what are you guys getting for fuel mileage up at high altitude? I did the math and I seem to be averaging about 6.1.
