To clarify , I’m essentially wondering if I’ll have access to any other Linq mounting points once my 90L cargo box is on .

 

I think the only Linq anchors you will have access to are the larger Linq anchor points if you remove the 2up seat backrest.

 

The 90L cargo box is pre-marked to drill the holes for another set of LinQ mounts on top of it, you might be able to work something out there. I use my top for a 1 gal gas caddy.

 

I have the same exact setup and 90l box and will be making a carrier for my setup soon. Based on the length of an auger with extension I'm thinking of running it parallel to the seat. Planning on making it out of aluminum. Will post pics when its complete.

 

That’s awesome , I will be following for sure . Just to confirm though , are the position number 3 Linq mounting locations still accessible on the rear of the tunnel with the 90L cargo box installed?

 

Yes they are not used with the 90L. Only the front 2 are used.

i have an ion and hang it on 2 up seat handles . it slides right in.. then easy to suport back ofbauger

 

I switched away from gas auger to the cordless drill kind. It so light I bungee the auger on tunnel on center on top of a generic plastic bin - I also prefer running length of tunnel. I don’t have the skidoo 90 l box but I am sure the auger can be strapped on top somehow. The light weight gives lots of options. I guess we’ll see how these plastic flights hold up over time, but it is pretty sweet to use.

 

Here are some pics showing the simple design that I came up with. I run a cordless drill Lite Flite auger which I place on top of my rod box (not shown) or hub house.
My heater, helix, drill and loose stuff all fit in the tub. If I need more room I just hitch up the Otter sled and pull that as well.
