Really simple, i was concerned about it too, but again it's a 5 min job. the back half is just 4 bolts to remove under the tunnel, and the front is just like the rest of the skidoo seats... a quick swap. If you wanted to get the plastic tank covers that go on either side to clean it up they are only 10 bucks each (part numbers: 513033418 and 513033419).

I am liking the axe and shovel holders on simpleman's sled. Is that a factory option or something made up? I really like that.

I too was thinking of ways to remove the passenger seat quickly. The aluminium bar looks the best so far for me, and can return to stock if need be. I like things left stock, or that can be returned to stock. Easier to sell later.

Has anybody tried ,or put thought into, just putting a raised bolt and slot for the front mount like the aluminum bar idea and just use plastic thumb nuts, or wing style bolts (or similiar) and go up through the bottom to mount the two rear bolts locations? I know there is very little room both from the tunnel sides and the track clearance. Snow/ice build up may make it impossible too? Does the track ever come close to the top of the tunnel?? I dont need a super fast seat removal, may even be ok with just two bolts on the rear and slots/bolts up front. But those two front ones are a real pain.

Hey, I seen one of the other members on here use the grips for an axe, they're called Quick Grips, I picked them up on amazon. I've been using using quick grips on mine and my wife's machine since and found it very secure and somewhat quick to get at the tools. On expy sport as seen above, I used the skidoo rack brace kit x2, this allowed me to mount the quick grips higher, which keeps the tools higher and out of the way of my running boards. Where the corner of the shovel touches the top of my tunnel, I put some shelter tape (same thing as a 3m rubber mastic tape) which has proven to be invincible against chafing on my mountain bikes and now on my skidoo.

As for the quick release two up, I'm not sure I've never tried it, but there was one topic in the expy sport, tundra and freestyle forum that everyone was bringing up there ideas.

Nice Expeditions, I like what BRP has done with the Lynx sleds. It seems that all the 2-up sleds use the LinQ back rest, so if you don't want to ride 2 up you can remove it. This would be the set up for me since I mostly ride single but sometimes need 2up for ice fishing with my kids. This set up also seems a lot less bulky than the expedition seat. I think it's setup wold be good for North America as well.
