Does the linQ system run the whole length of the tunnel to the gas tank? I am asking this because I'd like to remove the existing seating system all together and install the rev xp-X seat with storage (same seat that is on almost all of the renegade models).

Why? because I hate the main seats bulkiness, and I never plan on using the two up feature either.

Given I am able to install the same seat that's on the renegades, I'd like to be able to use the linQ system right behind it (I'm assuming about where the two up seat would have been bolted down)

LinQ is just 4 holes on the tunnel, you can put them anywhere you want really. Nothing special. If you want spacing measurements, we can get that information.

You could put LinQ on an older sled if you want. Just make sure where you drill the holes you're not drilling into something important. (i.e. heat exchanger).

Of course, the tunnel would need to be wide enough, but even if it isn't, you can always just have plate there. (or board)

I put LinQ on my 4 wheeler so I can use the same bag and racks all year long.

I did exactly this on my sled. I put on a renegade seat w/ storage (XP) and installed the LinQ large bag right behind the seat... then I added another LinQ bracket for the hard plastic LinQ box. If I could figure out photos - I would put it on here. I love the seat and the LinQ set-up. 2016 expo sport ACE.
Same seat I put on mine except mine is all black. Found it on Amazon.

If you are an aggressive or stand up rider who doesn't 2 up, the expedition sport front seat (even with the rear 2-up removed) is bulky/cumbersome to move around on compared to the others in design.
It's also like wearing a wet diaper if the conditions are very wet. The other design allows the snow / rain to run off more easily and not pool behind your... behind.

Now that looks alot better then the original seat.

Looks good MADinAk, I see you have the same cable scratchers I put on mine as well. I agree the back rack and tail light don't serve much purpose and couldn't wait to do away with it. As for the seat I kinda like the stock seat but then again this sled is a major upgrade from my past hunting sleds....now let's hope for some serious snow in this great state this year!

The stock seat is comfy and I did hate to get rid of it. I really needed the extra storage though and I found mine on Amazon for cheap. I think I paid $150. When I took the back seat off I was surprised at how much that sucker weighed. Must be 15 pounds or more. Your rig is looking good. I'm liking that rig to hold a rifle. I think I remember you or someone doing a thread on how they made it. Looking forward to a good year. I need the Susitna to freeze before I can get out though as we are at Trapper Lake and need to cross the Su for the quickest access. We use Susitna Landing. Have a great year!

Hey MADinAK - I too am on trapper lake. Can't wait for the Su to freeze. You ever try coming in from the Rabideaux trail that is north of the Su? We are at the northern end next to Vern and Betty's place. Hope to see you out there this winter.
