I guess if it doesn't affect you then it would be easy to bash on MX-Z Man. As for us this is a serious issue. These "greenies" or "treehuggers" are trying to take all the land and not let anyone use it. They have taken quite a few roads away from both atv's and snowmobiles. We live near Tug-Hill and it seems that everytime you turn around there is an article in the paper about atv's or snowmobiles and how they ruin the area and how they should be banned. It's kind of a sore subject with me.
It was a few years ago and we lost a main trail in our town because of some cry baby person that said the noise was horrible inside her home that was located no less than 1000 feet from the trail. Now we have to ride the blacktop/salt road to get back to the trail. That same snowmobile trail is located no more than 150 feet from my bedroom, the sound is noticeable, but not very. This is what is killing this area. I mean come on this is Upstate New York isn't it? The last time i checked it still wasn't considered a museum? But I wouldn't be surprised if that lawsuit/memo is probably being created by some "tree-hugger" as he drives his not so fuel efficient, job sucking Toyota Prius off to save the rain-forest... i mean Adirondack Park.
The other funny thing is that these people are the same people that use the ski trails and also our snowmobile trails for skiing. Our registration this year is $100 per snowmobile, $45 if you are a club member. How much is a registration for skiing on the ski trails? $0. The DEC officer that was in this area not toolong ago spent all his time cleaining the ski trails for the "huggers", the snowmobile trail club had to clear their wn trails. Doesn't sound fair to me.
Same thing happning in maine. I have a ban Roxxane t-shirt i wear all the time. This clown sold her burts bees wax buisness and uses all the profits to buy up land in northern maine. then posts it all so noone can use it. this one is for you roxxane
