rebuilding engine and was going to use BRP's drybond for crankcase reseal. that craps expensive. all the mechanics i know are not using it anymore. some using red loctite, some using this black loctite. any info from anyone would be appreciated. starting tuesday night. crank will be back by then.

use Yamabond from a Yamaha dealer

We use and have always used the red anarobic seler,it works well,yamabond 4 grey is good to but you have to get the cases together quick,the red stuff lets you think about it a while . nothings cheap about any of them

thanks for the info guys.
can't get yamabond, no local dealers
who sells anarobic seler(same as red loctite???), never heard of this stuff.
more info dyna tek please. picking crank up at 4:00 tommorrow to start rebuild.
not worried about costs for materials
