I bought a 2000 Touring 500LC from Colorado and I'm taking it back to Maine. Currently, it's setup to run high elevation 8-11000 feet. Maine will be 300-2500 feet elevation and temps will be 0-20 degrees F.
What needles, jets, clutching, gearing change will i need to be doing? It currently doesn't have a chaincase and gear set in it (broke) and that's the reason I picked it up (cheap and fun to work on). I'm planning on a 25 top, 43 bottom, but want to make sure I don't harm anything.

I couldent tell you about your jets but you will probubly want to go up on top gear and down on bottom and buy a softer primary spring
