I have a 2002 500 Legend. I had a problem with my electrical system a few rides ago. All of the electrical devices and instruments stop working. During the ride I narrowed it down to the Relay. I noticed that there was 2 relays. 1 was blown and the other one wasn't. I switched the 2 relays around and the electrical thngs started working again. So by switching the relays the electrical worked but I didn't notice that anything else had stopped working. Does any one know what the other relay is supposed to control?

Are you talking fuses? I personally have never seen a realy "blown". I would assume the circuit you took it from to test the inoperative lighting circuit is what the electrical device controls. Isn't the cover marked? Check the owners manual, it should tell you. Better yet, replace the bad one and if all is well--no harm no foul!

I did end up replacing the bad relay, but I was just curious of what the second relay controled.
