Electric Start

My buddy is picking up an 03 600ho rev. I was wondering if it was possible to switch the electric start out of my 05 500ss to his HO. Also, if it is possible what is involved in the process?

well according to this website the starters are different part numbers so I would assume not but they are the same price so I don't know if the 05 just superseeds the 03 #

I'm pretty confident that you could doo it. Sorry I couldn't help more. Call a dealer, they would be able to tell you.

I cant really say for sure but i would think since the 500ss and the 600ho are different blocks that they would not interchange.

But like TS said, a dealer should be able to help you.
