Students at McGill University in Montreal are developing a cleaner, quieter snowmobile. It will run on electricity. The project manager says the biggest challenge is that batteries wear down quickly in the cold. He says the machine's top speed will be about sixty kilometers an hour and it'll cover about sixty Kilometers on one battery. The electric snowmobile will be tested in Greenland.

they should put a diesel motor in a sled too , lol but that would be kinda cool but heeeeeeeeeeeeavy

Done correctly an electric sled would be the badest drag sled around.... really... 100% power now........ the trick would be hook up and you could run a 144 track spiked to 9's....
